Soft And Fluffy CONDENSED MILK BREAD

How to make a soft and fluffy, warm and buttery Condensed Milk Bread.

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 cup milk (250ml) room temp (you can use fresh, UHT or evap milk)
¼ cup sweetened condensed milk (75g)
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar (30g)
2 and ¼ tsp instant yeast (7g) (TYPO ERROR IN THE VIDEO–its in TEASPOON not CUP)
3 and ¼ cups All purpose flour (400g) plus more for kneading
1 tsp salt (5g)
¼ cup softened butter (50g)
Glaze:
3 tbsp softened butter (45g)
3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk(45g)

HERE’S HOW TO:

1▪️In a bowl, combine together milk, sweetened condensed milk, egg, sugar and yeast. Mix well.

2▪️Add flour and salt. Mix until you form a dough.

3▪️Add softened butter. Mix until butter is fully absorbed.

4▪️Transfer to a lightly floured counter. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

5▪️Dough is ready for proofing when its not tearing when stretched.

6▪️Smooth dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl.

7▪️Cover and rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

8▪️Punch the air out. Transfer dough to lightly floured counter.

9▪️Divide the dough into two equal parts.

10▪️Roll out each dough and flatten using a rolling pin forming a long rectangular shape.

11▪️Roll tightly into a log, pinching the edges to seal. Cutting into seven parts.

12▪️Place in a 7×4 inches loaf pan, greased and lined with parchment paper.

13▪️Cover for 45 minutes in a warm place and draft free place.

14▪️Preheat oven (about 15 minutes) at 180ºC/350ºF.

15▪️When dough is fully proofed, brush with egg wash, beat 1 egg and 2 tbsp milk.

16▪️Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until lightly golden in preheated oven.

17▪️Let it cool down while preparing the glaze.

18▪️GLAZE: Mix together softened butter and sweetened condensed milk

19▪️Brush onto the bread.

20▪️Serve and enjoy!
