Easy Moist Chocolate Ganache Cake

How to make a moist Chocolate Cake that is super quick and easy.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 and 1/2 cup sugar (300g)
1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour (190g)
2/3 cup cocoa powder (60g)
1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder (6g)
1 tsp baking soda (4g)
1 tsp salt (4g)
1 tsp instant coffee (3g)
1 large egg
1/3 cup plain yogurt (90g)
1 cup milk (250ml)
1/2 cup light olive oil (125ml)
1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
1 cup hot water (250ml)
Ganache:
2 cups dark choco chips (300g)
1 cup whipping cream (250ml) or all purpose cream

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven at 170C (340F). In a bowl, mix together sugar, flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and instant coffee powder.

2. Add egg, yogurt, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until incorporated.

3. Add hot boiling water and mix well.

4. Line a 9×9 inches square pan or 9×3 inches round pan. Use cake batter to adhere parchment paper.

5. Pour batter and bake in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

6. Let it cool down completely.

7. For the ganache: Melt choco chips and cream in a microwave for 1 minute and stir until melted.

8. Pour the ganache on top of cake and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.

9. Transfer to a serving dish or plate. Slice according to your preferred size.

10. Top with choco shavings or sprinkles.

11. Serve and enjoy!
