The Best Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
– 1 cup warm milk
– 2 + 1/4 tsp. yeast
– 1 large egg
– 2 Tbsp. melted butter
– 4 Tbsp. sugar
– 1/2 tsp. salt
– 3 cups flour
– Filling: 6 Tbsp. butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
– Frosting: 4 Tbsp. butter, 4 oz. cream cheese, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
Mix warm milk, yeast, egg, 1 Tbsp. butter, sugar, salt, and flour. Knead for 3 mins, let rise for 1 hour.
Mix filling ingredients.
Roll dough, spread filling, and cut into 8 rolls.
Let rise for 30 mins, bake at 350°F for 20-25 mins.
Cool and top with frosting.
