How to make the most beautiful Yogurt Bundt cake. If you have an expiring yogurt that is sitting in the fridge then you might like to try this super yummy recipe.
Here’s what you’ll need:
3/4 cup unsalted butter (180g)
1 and ¼ cup sugar (250g)
3 large eggs
1 cup plain yogurt (250g).
1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
2 and 3/4 cup all purpose flour (360g)
2 tsp baking powder (8g)
1 tsp salt (4g)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven at 160C/320F (convection) or 170C/340F (conventional).
2. Grease braided bundt pan with butter or veg shortening. Dust with flour, tap and shake out excess flour. Set aside.
3. In a bowl, cream unsalted butter, add sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
4. Add yogurt and vanilla, mix until incorporated.
5. Sift-in, flour, baking powder and salt.
6. Mix just until combined.
7. Pour batter in prepared pan.
8. Spread evenly and tap to release excess bubbles.
9. Bake in a preheated oven for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
10. Let it cool down.
11. Serve and enjoy!
