Tacos de Bistec
Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 lb flank steak or sirloin (thinly sliced)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lime (juiced)
For the Tacos:
Corn or flour tortillas
1 onion (sliced)
1 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
Salsa (your choice)
Avocado slices (optional)
Lime wedges (for serving)
Directions:
Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Beef:
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and nicely browned. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
Prepare the Tortillas:
While the beef is resting, warm the tortillas in a skillet or on the grill until soft and pliable.
Assemble the Tacos:
Place a generous amount of cooked beef on each tortilla. Top with sliced onion and fresh cilantro. Add salsa and avocado slices if desired.
Serve:
Serve the tacos hot with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
Enjoy your delicious Tacos de Bistec—simple, flavorful, and perfect for any taco night!
